Christmas Menu at The Station Hotel

Served from 1st – 24th December.

STARTERS

Homemade roasted parsnip and carrot soup
served with crusty bread

Homemade terrine of chicken & chorizo wrapped in bacon
served with toasted ciabatta , red pepper coulis and tomato chutney

Fantail of Cantaloupe melon
served with a fresh pineapple, mango and lime salsa and a champagne sorbet’

Local smoked haddock, spring onion and cream cheese pate
served with a dill crème fraiche and chunky oatcakes

MAIN COURSE

Traditional roast turkey
with a chestnut and cranberry stuffing and all the trimmings

Oven roasted loin of Scottish pork
served with a leek and smoked bacon stuffing and a homemade mustard sauce

Slow braised game casserole
with bacon, mushrooms, baby onions and a red wine sauce in a golden puff pastry case

Tartlet of smoked haddock, salmon and king prawns
served with a saffron and leek sauce topped with a cheese herb crumble

Roasted courgette and broccoli crepes
topped with an applewood smoked cheese sauce

with crushed shortbread, blueberry coulis and vanilla ice cream
